Latest COVID-19 Info
The DOE has developed additional resources and guidance for you, your staff, and students who do not receive their COVID-19 test results within 48-72 hours from your school’s testing provider. Please note the following and take appropriate action:
- Remind students’ families to make sure their contact information in school records is still current;
- Proactively and regularly communicate to families the name of the lab conducting tests at your school (BioReference Laboratories, Fulgent Genetics, or SOMOS Community Care);
- Share information about the new NYC Public School Testing Result Hotline at (646) 614-3028. Note that families must have the name of the testing-provider lab conducting tests at your school, in order to access the results; and
- Circulate this one-pager about the COVID-19 In-School Testing Program, available in all DOE-supported languages, to your families, as well as parent leaders, community-based organizations, and other partners.
